Last month, Volm traveled to the Big Lake, Minnesota, area to connect with customers and attendees of the United Potato Growers of America’s June Meeting.

Ewing Farms kindly hosted a tour of their operations and provided a delicious catered dinner for meeting attendees and other local growers. It was a true pleasure to meet the families who work diligently to deliver high-quality potatoes to our industry. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Ewing family for your warm hospitality!

The visit was a wonderful chance to experience firsthand the care, teamwork, and expertise involved in every step of the growing journey. Whether it was chats in the field or conversations around the dinner table, the day truly showcased the dedication of growers who constantly adapt, innovate, and work together to ensure a reliable and thriving potato supply chain.

For Volm, connecting face-to-face plays a crucial role in really understanding our customers' needs and the wider industry. Meeting with growers allows us to build stronger relationships, have meaningful conversations, and showcase our dedication to offering packaging and equipment solutions that support them from the field all the way to market.

We left Big Lake with a deeper appreciation for the people behind the crop and for the strong sense of community that continues to drive the potato industry forward.
